Waed Qatawneh

Waad Qatawneh is a Jordanian visual artist who graduated from the College of Arts and Design at the University of Jordan. Working across various artistic mediums, her art practice revolves around memory and visual archives. Her paintings are a representation of found images, focused on the local context, and reinterpreted to explore feminist philosophies and create alternate pasts, presents and futures.
