I don't remember who I was before the war, randomly finding myself in a woman's body. And I don't know who I became, unable to differentiate between truth and illusion, between the one I was before or the one I transformed into. In this piece, I draw the details I remember of my life before the war, I translate the universe around me and through me with all its complexities, trying to soften the effects of the absurd. I draw what I cannot see, trying to catch it through the soul, merging body and soul, flipping those two, continuously and endlessly, until they become one. All the drawn figures translate my questions, staring at them from afar, pondering the vastness of the universe, attempting to perceive our many others.
