The greatest sound is sparse; the grandest sight is formless

“The greatest sound is sparse; the grandest sight is formless” brings together a constellation of works that challenge established hierarchies of content and imagery, while weaving cultural and spiritual depths into a dialogic engagement on resistance and repair in a fractured world.
The works delve into the hidden dimensions of daily life, searching for remedies to the loss of faith in envisioning alternative futures. At a time when our world feels increasingly untenable, these works offer glimpses into parallel realms, transcending the limitations of material detritus, form and colour in a search of a life that slips through the cracks.
Each artist disrupts, reconstructs and reimagines preconceived notions, inviting a new exploration at the intersection of material and meaning. In confronting their depths, they resist isolation, creating connections between disparate moments and prompting a reconsideration of overlooked facets of existence and imagination. In doing so, they offer a vision of artistic and existential renewal, pushing back against the absurdity and suffocating hold of dominant state narratives and entrenched cultural forms.
