Poetry is ever-present - all we need to do is find the efficient words, hyperboles, and crises and assemble them in the "correct" order. The same applies to the visual image, an apt collection of lines, colors, and messes, coming together to appease or distress the eye. Through simple observation, one might be able to determine the incomparable rage of a daily drive to the office, or the immeasurable nostalgia of a pink sky on an April afternoon, capturing these emotions in our own ways.

Tala Abdulhadi led a workshop at the lesser Amman library, focusing on the written word and the visual image. Over several sessions, the participants explored poetry writing and illustration in a collaborative environment.
