Shahd Jamhour

Shahd Jahmour is a sculptor and visual artist who is based in Amman. In her sculptural work, she creates abstract organic forms using local stone and wood and more natural forms using a multitude of materials ranging from steel to fiberglass. Shahd’s work embodies animalistic forms that are tied to her philosophies around human nature, instinct and raw characteristics. Shahd does not shy away from working on a large scale and creating interactive works that allow her audience to engage and play.
